About the 12TH RBVFC FIRE FIGHTIN' 5K RUN/WALK
The course runs through town on roads, looping out to the boardwalk and along the ocean before finishing back at the fire station. It is flat throughout, and the stretch near the water gives it a different feel from a typical neighborhood race.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the fire station, so race morning can move quickly. The post-race scene stays at the station, with live music, games, a kids dash, and refreshments after everyone is in.

The 12TH RBVFC FIRE FIGHTIN' 5K RUN/WALK has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
