About the 2ND REHOBOTH BEACH LIFEGUARD 5K RUN/WALK

The course runs out from the bandstand along the boardwalk, turns around near North Shores, and comes back the same way. It is flat road the whole way, with the ocean to one side and the beach town around you. The start is early, before the heat of the morning sets in and before the lifeguards head to their posts.

The race starts and finishes at the bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue. An awards ceremony follows shortly after the last runner finishes, held right there at the bandstand. If you miss the ceremony, awards can be picked up later in Lewes or shipped.
