About the 36TH SEAWITCH 5K CLASSIC & 1M FRIGHT WALK

The course runs through a pine grove on the north side of Rehoboth Beach, which gives it a different feel from a boardwalk race. The out-and-back walk shares the start, so the area has plenty of activity before the gun. Halloween costumes are part of the culture here, and there is a parade of costumes just before the start.

Packet pickup is the evening before at a pub in Lewes that offers pasta on the menu, so dinner and bib pickup happen in the same stop. Parking is at Grove Park, along Henlopen and Rehoboth Avenues. A silent auction runs pre-race through the awards ceremony, benefiting a local scholarship fund.
