About This Club

Totem Lake Run Club is a twice-weekly evening meetup in Kirkland, gathering right outside the lululemon store in Totem Lake. It's built around the social side of running, not performance, so it suits people who want company on a run more than a workout to chase.

  • Cross Kirkland Corridor runs
  • Storefront meetup
  • Pre-run warmup
  • Community building

Who It Suits

This fits beginners, social runners, and people who prefer running in the evening over early mornings. It's explicitly not aimed at competitive racers or early risers, and if you're bringing a stroller or a dog, this isn't set up for that.

What a Run With Them Is Like

You start with a pre-run warmup before heading out onto the Cross Kirkland Corridor, a paved trail, so the footing stays consistent and predictable. The run finishes near Salt & Straw, which sets up a natural reason to hang around afterward. No pace groups or splits are mentioned, so expect a shared, social pace rather than a structured workout.

Your First Run

Show up by 6pm and look for the group in front of lululemon in Totem Lake, that's the whole meeting point, no need to hunt for a trailhead or parking lot. The pre-run warmup happens before you head out, so arriving on time means you're not scrambling to catch up once the group starts moving.

Walkers are welcome and it's described as beginner-friendly, so being new or slower isn't a reason to skip it. The run ends near an ice cream spot, which is as good a reason as any to stick around after and meet people.
