Running Souls Run Club
Running Souls Run Club brings structured, coach-led group runs to Prospect Park three times a week. Certified coach Howard Abrams keeps the sessions purposeful and the group small enough that you actually get coached.
Quick take
This is a free, coach-led RunSesh with real structure. Tuesdays build endurance, Thursdays sharpen speed, and Saturdays wrap up with an optional coffee. Your crew is small, the coaching is real, and the park is right there.
Best for
- Runners who want free group coaching without paying for a training plan
- Those looking to build both endurance and speed in the same week
- Runners comfortable holding a 10:30 pace or faster for 3 or more miles
- Anyone who wants a small, consistent group rather than a large anonymous crowd
- Runners who like a social reason to show up on Saturday mornings

Good to know
This club is not the right fit for absolute beginners, walkers, or runners who need a slower pace. The workouts are structured and the pace expectation is real, so come prepared to run.
