The Spirit of America Trail runs through Zintel Canyon in the heart of Kennewick, and the course follows it across a mix of pavement, gravel, and dirt. The terrain shifts underfoot as you go, which keeps the route interesting without throwing anything too technical at you.
Timing is handled by hand at the finish line, with results posted afterward. It is a small-scale setup, which tends to make the finish area feel a bit more personal than a fully produced event.
