About the 2026 Zaman Run Walk Picnic
The course runs through Ford Field Park, a park setting that keeps the route accessible and open. The event is built around a picnic afterward, with a barbecue lunch and a spread of family activities in the park, including a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and a basketball competition. It draws a crowd that is clearly there for the full day, not just the run.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at the Zaman Hope for Humanity Center in Inkster, or on race morning at the park itself. The morning window closes before the runs begin, so arriving with a little time to spare is the move.
