About the World Heritage Festival Tour de las Misiones
The run course follows the San Antonio River Walk's Mission Reach, passing through the southside of the city and around Mission San José. It is a road course, partly on open roads shared with traffic, so runners stay aware of vehicles throughout. The surroundings are the real draw: the missions themselves are living historic sites, not backdrop.
Everything starts and ends at Mission County Park Pavilion. Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the event at the World Heritage Center on Roosevelt Avenue, with race-morning pickup also available. There is live music and a post-race food and drink spread for registered participants.
