About the Wishing Flower Walk & 5k

This race takes place inside a zoo, which shapes the whole morning. The course runs through the grounds, and your entry covers zoo access for the rest of the day after you finish. A children's dash gives younger kids their own moment before the main distances go off. The event benefits Project NICU, and the post-race gathering draws NICU families and medical staff from several local hospitals.

Packet pickup is available on the two evenings before the race at a location in Broadview Heights, with race-morning pickup at the zoo as well. After the race, the Palava Hut hosts the reunion and awards. Dogs are not permitted on zoo grounds during the event.
