About the WisePies Pizza Run - Annual 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K Challenge
The WisePies Pizza Run runs through Albuquerque with distance options for most abilities, from a short mile to a longer stretch. The race supports a children's wish-granting charity and a girls' running program, so the crowd skews toward families and first-timers rather than people chasing a PR. Hot pizza and pasta are waiting at the finish.
Packet pickup happens at Sol Fitness on University Boulevard in the days before the race, with morning-of pickup available at the start for anyone who cannot make it earlier. The event opens well before the gun, so arriving with time to spare is worth it.
