About the Sugar Skull Fun Run
The course runs along Tingley Drive, a stretch of road between a main avenue and a cross street. It is flat, open, and easy to follow. The whole event leans into Día de los Muertos, so expect sugar skull face paint and elaborate costumes throughout the field. Pets are welcome on the shorter distance, and food trucks plus an outdoor market are open nearby.
Packet pickup happens the two days before the race at a local running store. Parking near the start is tight, and the organizers are upfront about it: carpooling is encouraged, and there is overflow parking at a steakhouse on Central with a complimentary shuttle running on race morning.
