About the Winnie's Way 5k Rescue Run
The course runs out and back along a paved bike path starting at a boat launch on the river. It is flat road the whole way, open to the sky, with no technical sections. Dogs on leash are welcome, and so are strollers and wagons, though those move at a walk. A kids fun run goes off just before the main race.
Packet pickup happens at a local running store the two days before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the start. Afterward, local animal rescue organizations bring adoptable dogs to the finish area, and there are refreshments while awards are handed out.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Winnie's Way 5k Rescue Run has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
