About the Winky Providence Monster Dash 5K
This is a Halloween-themed 5K through downtown Providence, starting on South Water Street. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a costume contest for both individuals and teams. A short kids dash runs before the main event, and parents can run alongside their children. The atmosphere leans toward the seasonal and celebratory side, with the whole thing wrapped around the holiday.
Packet pickup happens over the two days before the race at Marathon Sports inside Providence Place mall, with race-morning pickup available at the start line on South Water Street. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back, and no pets are allowed on the course.
