About the Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5k (Race 2 Tour de Patrick)
The course starts at the State House on Smith Street and runs through Providence as part of the St. Patrick's Day festivities. A short kids run goes off first, then the main field follows. The route is part of a three-race series tied to the holiday, so some runners are carrying over momentum from an earlier event in the same stretch of weeks.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local running store on Providence Place, with race-morning pickup available in the parking lot across from the State House. After finishing, the crowd moves to Patrick's Pub on Smith Street, where there is live music and a cash bar alongside the St. Patrick's Day parade.
