About the WICKED FAST MARATHON & HALF MARATHON TUCSON, ARIZONA
The course starts in Oro Valley and works its way into Tucson along a paved trail system with no street crossings and no parked cars to navigate around. There is a gentle net drop the whole way, enough that the legs feel fresh longer than usual without any obvious downhill pounding. Desert scenery runs along both sides for most of the route.
Cold beer is waiting at the finish line, and the weather tends to cooperate for a post-race stretch in the sun.
