About the Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash 2026 Early Bird
The Drumstick Dash runs through the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis on Thanksgiving morning, starting east of a high school and finishing along Broad Ripple Avenue. Both course options are timed and mostly flat, with just one real climb to speak of. The longer route and the shorter one follow the same finish, so the crowd near the end is the same for everyone.
The start area sits near Broad Ripple High School, with street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, spots behind the school, and a few local garages nearby. A white tent near the finish line serves as the support hub if anything goes sideways with your bib. Post-race refreshments are set up just past the finish.
