About the West Chester University Track or Treat
This one runs on a track at a university campus, which means a flat, looped course with a clear surface underfoot. The twist is Halloween: runners collect candy at stations around the track while music plays from a DJ setup near the infield. There is also a costume contest, so plenty of people show up dressed for the occasion rather than just for the race.
The format is a timed lap challenge rather than a set distance, so you run as many laps as you can in the window and see where you land. It suits both people who want to push hard and people who are mostly there for the candy and the costumes. Packet pickup and parking details are not something the organizers spelled out, so worth checking closer to race day.
