About the 19th Annual Stanley's Dream 5k Run and 2.5k Walk
This race in West Chester honors a young man who fought brain cancer as a teenager and dreamed of going to college. The foundation his family built in his name funds college scholarships for graduating seniors and grants for childhood brain cancer research. That context travels with you through every step of the course.
Both an in-person and a virtual option are available, so runners who cannot make it to West Chester on race day can still take part. Beyond that, logistics for the start area and parking were not something the organizer detailed, so arriving with a little extra time is a reasonable plan.
