About the 55th Annual Webster Turkey Trot
The race starts at Parkview Lodge in Webster Park on Thanksgiving morning, which gives it the feel of a neighborhood gathering before everyone heads home for dinner. The course runs through the park, and there are two distance options, one longer and one shorter, so you see a range of people out there, from serious runners to folks getting their first miles in before the turkey.
Packet pickup runs for several days in the week before the race at a running store in Rochester, with race-morning pickup available at the back windows of Parkview Lodge as a backup. The organizers are emphatic about going early. There is a food and hygiene drive during pickup, and post-race food is available at the finish.
