About the Wagging Tails on the Trails

The course loops through mangroves and coastal hammock habitat along the Indian River Lagoon, so the surroundings are dense and green right up to the water's edge. Dogs are welcome on leash, and water bowls are out at the hydration stations. There is also a short kids' dash, with cupcakes at the finish line.

Parking is across the street from the start, split between a beach park and the Navy Seal Museum. The riverside side has no parking, so plan to walk a short distance over to the start area.
