About the Pelican Yacht Club Turkey Trot 5K

The course runs through the neighborhoods of South Hutchinson Island before reaching Ocean Boulevard, where the route follows the jetty out and back. It is a road race with real surroundings, salt air, and a finish back at the yacht club where the morning started.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the yacht club itself. After the race, drinks and snacks are set out at the finish, which makes the post-race stretch feel worth staying for before everyone heads off to cook.
