About the Voices for Recovery
The race is held at Bur Oak Pavilion and benefits recovery from substance use disorders, timed to National Recovery Month. The cause draws a crowd that tends to be personally connected to the issue, so the atmosphere is quieter and more purposeful than a typical weekend run. Dogs are not permitted on site.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local behavioral health office nearby. On race morning, registration opens before the start as well. Awards go to top finishers overall and across a range of age groups.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
