About the Lorain County Relay for Life 5K/1Mile

The course runs on the grounds of a community college campus, flat and quick underfoot. This is part of a much larger Relay for Life event, so the race itself is surrounded by a full morning of activity: food trucks, a classic car show, a kids zone with inflatables, and a silent auction that runs well into the afternoon. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Packet pickup and registration open early on race morning at a tent near the start and finish area. After you run, there is plenty of reason to hang around, the car show and food trucks are going for hours, and the whole campus has a block-party feel by midday.
