About the Viking Dash - Pinehurst, NC

The course starts on pavement, then transitions to packed gravel, narrow dirt paths, and open grass. A large portion winds through a disc golf course, and that stretch is genuinely hilly. A couple of short sections get narrow and steep, with volunteers posted there to help.

Packet pickup is race morning only, at West Pinehurst Community Park, the same place the race starts. Registration stays open into the early part of race morning, so late sign-ups are possible. Plan to arrive with enough time to check in before the first wave goes off.
