About the Ventura 4th of July 5k
The course runs at the beach in Ventura, so expect flat ground underfoot and open ocean air. It reads as a holiday morning run rather than a serious tune-up race, though age group awards go deep into the field, so there is something to chase at every pace.
Local vendors and community businesses set up on race day, giving the finish area a bit of a street-fair feel. Results post digitally at the finish line, so you can see where you landed before you walk back to the car.
