About the Patagonia Salmon Run 5K
The Salmon Run is a Patagonia-organized race that doubles as an environmental event. The organizers aim to run it as a zero-waste morning, so bring a reusable water bottle and coffee mug rather than expecting disposable cups. A portion of proceeds goes to a local beneficiary chosen closer to race day.
Packet pickup opens race morning at the Patagonia store on Santa Clara Street, which also gives participants a discount on full-priced gear when they bring their bib in after the race. There is no day-of registration, so online signup is the only way in, and the race tends to sell out before the entry window closes.
