About the Valnova Turkey Trot
The route starts and finishes at a trail head pavilion inside a residential community in Eagle, with a short fun-run option for kids and adults together, plus a longer run-walk course. Participants are encouraged to come in Thanksgiving costume, and there are prizes for the best-dressed in each race. The event raises money for the Boise Rescue Mission, which supports people experiencing homelessness in the area.
Registration happens on-site the morning of the race, before the first wave goes off. Fleet Feet Treasure Valley helps run the event, handling timing and logistics. The entry is free, though organizers ask for a donation to the Boise Rescue Mission in lieu of a registration fee.
