About the Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

The course runs through River Ranch Town Square, a planned neighborhood with wide streets and a pedestrian-friendly square at its center. The terrain is flat and paved, so there is nothing technical underfoot. The shorter distance suits first-timers and young kids, while the longer route gives everyone else room to push. Both start and finish in the same open square.

Post-race, there is water, sports drinks, fruit, donuts, and some Cajun cooking on hand. A bounce house is set up for kids. Packet pickup runs the morning before the race at a local foundation office, with race-morning pickup available as well, starting before the first wave goes off.

Common Questions About the Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Will I finish last at the Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 36:39, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:02:59, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 304 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Ush One See 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 19:41 while the median finisher took 36:39. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
