About the University of Charleston Marathon
The course runs through downtown Charleston, crossing the Kanawha River and passing the state capitol before looping through the university campus. The roads are flat throughout, which is why runners chasing personal records or Boston qualifying times tend to show up here. It is a certified course, so the times count.
Packet pickup has a firm cutoff before race morning, and there is no race-day pickup option. If you cannot collect your own packet, someone else can do it with the right authorization form and a copy of your photo ID.
