About the 18th Annual United Way Turkey Trot
The course starts and finishes at Daffin Park, with the middle stretch winding through the Ardsley Park neighborhood. It is a road race on Thanksgiving morning, and the crowd tends to reflect the holiday: costumes are common, strollers are in the mix, and dogs on leashes are welcome alongside their owners.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at Fleet Feet Sports on Waters Avenue. There is no race-morning pickup and no on-site registration, so plan ahead. After the race, food and drinks are available at Daffin Park, along with an awards ceremony that covers age groups and a best-costume category.
