About the St Andrew's Trick Treat or Trot 5k
The course runs entirely on sidewalk through Wilmington Island, out and back, with tree cover along most of the route. It starts and finishes on the school's football field, which gives the race a bit of a stadium feel at the beginning and end. The Halloween theme carries through the morning, and students from the school help run things on race day.
Parking is available on site, and the school opens its restrooms to runners. Photos are taken along the course at no extra charge. Packet pickup and the start area are both at the school, so there is not much ground to cover before the gun goes off.
