About the UltraTrax Philadelphia
The course runs through the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education in northwest Philadelphia, a large preserve of fields, forests, and streams. Trails wind past mature tulip poplars, oaks, beeches, ponds, and art installations scattered through the woods. Several distance options are available, and participants can add a weighted vest or ruck to make any of them harder.
Bibs can be mailed in advance or collected at the start on the day itself. Parking on site is limited; shuttles run throughout the day between the start and an offsite lot a short drive away. There is food and drink at the finish, sold on site.
