About the Ugly Sweater Run
The course runs through Cherokee Park on roads, with several distance options so people cover as much or as little ground as they want. Festive gear is encouraged, and strollers and leashed dogs are welcome alongside everyone else. The whole thing is untimed, so there is no pressure on pace.
The start and finish are near Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park. Afterward, there are donuts, cookies, coffee, a hot cocoa bar, and a gingerbread decorating contest nearby. A raffle runs later in the morning at the pavilion across from the fountain, and no pre-registration is needed for it.
