About the Ugly Sweater Run - Burton
The Ugly Sweater Run starts at Burton Square and winds through town, so the surroundings are very much part of the experience. The course is open to runners and walkers alike, and the real draw is the attire: participants show up in the most outrageous holiday sweaters they can find or make, pets included.
Packet pickup timing is still being worked out, so keep an eye on the race communications. After the race, there is hot cocoa and other refreshments at the finish, along with sweater and best-dressed pet contests judged on the spot. Proceeds support a local holiday celebration put on by the Burton Chamber of Commerce.
