About the Turkey-Wanis 5K
The course runs through residential streets and is described as flat and accurate, which tends to mean it does not surprise you. Dogs and strollers are out here alongside runners, so expect a range of paces and some weaving early on. There is a pumpkin pie raffle at the finish, and proceeds go toward a local Kiwanis family assistance program.
The race starts and ends at a stadium, where free parking is available and awards are handed out afterward. Registration also happens there, so you can treat it as your single stop for the morning.
