About the Turkey Shuffle - Oklahoma City
The Turkey Shuffle runs through Stars and Stripes Park, weaving through local parks and greenbelts during fall foliage season. The course options range from a short dash for kids up through a longer road and trail route for adults, so families tend to show up together. A DJ keeps things moving at the start area, and a costume contest draws out some genuinely committed Thanksgiving outfits.
Snacks and refreshments are set up at the finish under a race rally tent. The organizer announces every finisher by name and holds a live awards ceremony on site, so there is reason to stick around after you cross the line.
