About the Tulip Trot 5K & Walk
The course winds through Rose Hill Plantation, a historic property in Bluffton with the kind of natural surroundings the Lowcountry does well. The route is scenic rather than punishing, and the race exists to honor a specific person and raise funds for Parkinson's Disease, so there is a personal weight to the morning that most local 5Ks do not carry.
The evening before the race, a local running shop in Bluffton hosts packet pickup. On race morning, collection moves to Rose Hill Plantation before the start, and there are no day-of registrations, so arriving with your bib already sorted is worth the extra step.
