About the Triple Crown Trot 5K

The course runs entirely inside Ashford Stud, a working thoroughbred farm outside Versailles that is home to some of the most famous stallions in racing history. You pass the stallion barn, the foaling barn, and paddocks where yearlings may be running alongside you. Most of the surface is paved road, with one stretch of grass path.

Packet pickup happens at a local running shop the evening before the race, then at the Woodford Humane Society the following afternoon, with a final window at the farm entrance on race morning. The race benefits the humane society, and no pets are permitted on the course out of consideration for the horses.
