About the TMC Tucson 10k
The course runs through desert terrain in the Tucson Mountains, moving through rolling hills near Starr Pass and Gates Pass with wide views across the basin. The surroundings are open and arid, and the elevation changes are real enough to notice. Staging is in a shaded courtyard at Pima Community College's west campus, with music and food trucks after the race.
Packet pickup happens the day before at a local running store, with a race-morning option at the start area for those who cannot make it earlier. The campus is accessible from two roads, though one closes to traffic during the race window, so arriving with time to spare and parking on the south side makes departure easier.
