About the Tiny Footprints Remembrance 5K Run/Walk
This race exists because of a real loss. A Midland family started it to honor babies who died too soon, including their own daughter, and to raise money for local NICU and bereavement support. That origin is present in the atmosphere. Expect a crowd that is quieter and more purposeful than most morning 5Ks.
Race-morning registration opens before the start, so you do not need to arrive the night before. Afterward, there are food trucks on site, along with face painting and glitter tattoos, which draws families with young children. The post-race area has the feel of a small outdoor gathering rather than a typical finish-line scene.
