About the Loons Pennant Race
The Loons Pennant Race takes place at a minor league baseball stadium, and the course finishes right on the field. After the race, a baseball game follows, so most people stick around. The atmosphere is more summer-evening event than hard-effort race, with the stadium crowd and the ballpark setting doing a lot of the work.
Packet pickup happens outside the stadium in the hours before the race starts, so you can arrive, grab your bib, and walk in without much scramble. Hot dogs and cheap ballpark snacks are available during the game, and the event runs rain or shine.
