About the 10th Annual Red Moon Trail Run
The Red Moon Trail Run goes through Midland City Forest on wide, flat trails, not narrow single-track, so there is room to move even in the dark. The night distances start before the shorter ones, giving longer-distance runners time to finish after dark while the shortest distance begins as close to actual nightfall as possible. Small LED lights mark the course throughout.
Packet pickup happens on race day, starting in the late afternoon, at a field near the sledding hill in the Monroe Parking Lot area. The start and finish are in that same field. Cold beverages are waiting at the finish, along with free downloadable finish-line photos taken as you cross the arch.
