About the Thin Mint Sprint 5K & Daisy Dash 1 Mile Fun Run
Both races run through Audubon Park, one of the more pleasant stretches of green in New Orleans. The course is shaded and relatively flat, the kind of park loop where families line up along the path. The shorter distance is aimed at young runners, while the longer race has age-group awards across a wide range of divisions.
This is a Girl Scouts fundraiser at its core, so expect a lot of troop energy in the crowd. Post-race has the feel of a team gathering rather than a traditional finish-line scene, with cookies very much in the picture.
