About the TRON Night Run: Neon Grid 5K & 10K
This is a nighttime road race along the L.A. River path, run after dark with LED lighting set up along the course. The route loops, so you cover the same stretch of river more than once depending on your distance. The theme is heavy: neon, glow gear, and TRON-inspired visuals throughout. Runners are encouraged to wear lit-up or brightly colored clothing, and most do.
The start area is off Owensmouth Avenue near the river path. A virtual option exists for runners who cannot attend in person, with participants logging their distance on their own and submitting proof afterward. Post-race, there are photo opportunities set up along the course and at the finish.
