About the Stein Dash
The Stein Dash runs straight into Oktoberfest NW, so the finish line deposits you directly into a festival hall. On the way there, instead of water stops, the course has beer stations where you grab your commemorative stein, fill it, drink, and keep moving. The clock does not stop while you drink, which is the whole joke and the whole point.
After you finish, you are already inside the festival: food vendors, football on screens, and dachshund races happening around you. The kids field runs a shorter course with root beer stations instead, same format, same finish.
