About the Sports Spectacular 5K/10K
The course runs along Bolsa Chica State Beach on the bike path, flat and close to the water, with ocean views the whole way. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome, though both are asked to start toward the back. A sports and fitness expo runs race morning, with local clubs, coaches, and programs set up near the start area.
Food vendors on site are selling street tacos, agua fresca, fresh fruit, and specialty coffees, so bring cash. Public restrooms are available throughout the beach parking area. The race goes rain or shine, and watch for cyclists sharing the beach path during the run.
