About the Sensory Fun Color Run & Walk
The course offers both a longer run and a shorter walk option, so people move at whatever pace suits them. The signature element is color powder thrown along the way, and there are sensory experiences woven into the event beyond just the running. Wearing white is encouraged so the color shows up. An ice cream vendor is on site.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the event. On race day, the start area features a dedicated sensory support area run by a local parks and recreation partner, with inclusive activities designed for families. Donations of sensory items for children in the community are accepted voluntarily at the event.
