About the Rad Race
The Rad Race is themed around the cult BMX movie that inspired it, so expect costumes and an attire contest before the gun goes off. The course runs out of TC Jester Park, and the morning has the feel of a block party as much as a race, with a kids dash, music, and a post-race festival that stretches well into the morning.
Packet pickup happens on race morning at the park, with an early pickup option announced closer to the event. The schedule builds in time for a warm-up, a costume contest, and a movie screening before the start. Stick around after the race; there are drawings, memorabilia, and awards presented on site.
