About the Prospect Park Half Marathon
The course runs through Prospect Park, a large historic urban park in Brooklyn. The route mixes a partial northern section with several counter-clockwise loops of the park's outer ring, so you pass familiar ground more than once. The terrain has some real variation to it, making this a more demanding half than a flat road race.
Bib pickup happens race morning only, with baggage check right next to it. The start and finish are on Center Drive, near the center of the park. Street parking is available along the park's southern edge, and several subway lines stop nearby.
