About the 18th Annual Moose Chase Kids Race
This is a kids race open to runners under a certain age, with several distance options scaled for different ages and abilities. Parents can run alongside their kids. It benefits a local learning nonprofit, and the organizers ask everyone to bring a canned good for a community food pantry.
After the race, there is ice cream and hot chocolate at the finish, along with a raffle. The event is held in Livingston, and the morning has the feel of a neighborhood gathering as much as a race.
